The Asia Fund for Credit Union Development is established in 1971 to support the educational programs for the promotion of credit unions in developing credit union movements such as Bhutan, Laos, Cambodia, Nepal, Timor Leste and Mongolia.

AFCUD grants the initiatives of local organizations or group of people to organize and strengthen their own cooperative financial institutions. We believe that a grant can be a game-changer. This one belief guides us. It inspires us to support local initiatives especially in countries where credit unions are still at its initial stage or does not exist. As we all know, credit unions have an immense contribution to poverty alleviation, employment generation and social integration.

Your donation will help us transform the lives of people by providing them access to affordable financial services for their socioeconomic development.

The unit of each contribution is minimum of US$50. Based on their financial capability, member organizations, credit unions or individuals may contribute according to the unit of contribution. You'll receive convenient monthly and annual receipts by e-mail.
